The tram stop at Obilní trh received a shelter with underground public toilets in 1928. The shelter was designed by architect Oskar Poříska, who also designed the defunct tram stop waiting areas with shops on náměstí Svobody and Moravské náměstí. The shelter in Obilní trh consists of an elementary structure whose back wall smoothly merges into the ceiling panel to form one of Poříska's favourite motifs – rounded edges. At present, the shelter performs its function only partially, as the underground toilets have been closed since the 1980s.
