Karel Čupr
Originally a metalsmith at Veveří Castle (1883–1885), Čupr gradually established himself as a real estate dealer and developer. He built a number of apartment houses in Brno, in particular in the new neighbourhood then being developed around Veveří Street. His sons Karel and Leopold followed in his footsteps.
