Emerich Horvát

Emerich Horvát was born in Putnok, Hungary, in 1901. He completed secondary school in Arad and was admitted to the German Technical University In Brno in 1920. After passing the state examination in 1922, he worked as a trainee in Jindřich Kumpošt's studio in Brno. In 1928 he married and, beginning in 1933, repeatedly applied for Czechoslovak citizenship; his requests were always rejected. His further fate after 1938 is unknown.
